I'm so happy!

I thought the photos I took at the Nokia event, was so bad that it could not be used on the CNBC Aisa webpage, but, it was not that bad.

Guess what. My shots are on CNBC Asia webpage... hehe, *Proud Moment Here* It's on the cover for a special report, well, its CommunicAsia 2008, and its on the cover page!!!!

Well, all thanks to Alan. Without him, there's no me. Whatever skills I have, is all from him. Really, I'm so thankful for his help all this while. The bottom line, His The Wind Beneath My Wings. It is because of Alan that why I can fly. A million thanks Alan!

Above: See the 3 models featured there... haha! That was my shot. And its on the cover!

Above: The mobile phone I shot.

Woohoo.. so happy, just realised, all the Nokia phones photos were shot by me! Haha, this is such a morale booster. Finally, seriously, I have achieved something! Again, thanks to Alan! It all happen because Alan believed that I could do it!

Ok, this pass few days was at BroadcastAsia at Expo. haha, its actually only for Businessmen.... but, I got IN! Haha, lol. Freelancer lor.. I no company.. hahaha... Learnt alot there lah.. saw many many many broadcast equipments.... so much to learn there..... haha... and now, I got some basic knowledge on how to operate a pro dvc!

Monday, the very first day of the first week of the holidays...

Went for a meeting in school... After that headed down to Peninsula Plaza with Zhi Hao to shop for some camera stuff.... The salesmen at Cathay Photos was very helpful and friendly.... Went to another shop to buy a UV-Ray filter.. as Cathay Photos ran out of stock... man.. paid slighlty higher than I was supposed to... But what to do... Camera Protection comes first.

WAIT... Did I mention I just got a camera of my own? Haha.. YES, I DID!

Anyway, after that had a shoot...

I was with CNBC Asia as their photographer/media crew at Nokia Connection 2008.. WOOHOO.... Oh man, love the treatment on the ground for the media! Got an identity pass, really boosted my confidence.... very seldom get a chance like this.... Before the event, was at CNBC's office... their studio was WOW.. haha.... so happy that I got to see so much of TV stuff there....

Everyone on the location, was nice and friendly...

Felt down after the event... Why? Photos did not turn out as expected... hmm... but, I was sent some photos, it looked good what... haha.. even the CNBC staff on site, saw the photos, and were fine with it..... anyway, whatever the outcome, I believe not all my efforts went down the drain, they were still some good shots. :)

What really matters was that I did my best, and I got to see a few shots I took, and they were nice :) And, most importantly the exposure in such an exclusive event! Saw how the event was running, location, etc...... Cool stuff!

Anyway..... In life gotta take things positively. Someone told me before, "When you first start off you will make a million mistakes." So, I don't feel so bad, well, at least, not all the photos are horrible, still got a few good shots that are usable for news!! haha, was just feeling down.. But, now feeling happy... Probably due to blogging it down. :)

After event was given some gifts.. LOL. Thought I got a free phone!.. haha. did not get lah... just some other stuff....

Ok, I'm off to prepare myself to leave for an exhibition.... Will tell you more about it... anyway, its related to media too. Can learn alot from there about equipment, etc.

See you soon! Hey, Tag on my board lah! So I know your reading. :)

Take care & enjoy your holidays!

PS: I have to say this, THANKS ALAN for everything! And Zhi Hao, for helping me out yesterday... Zhi Hao, you will be fine, don't worry too much ok? Take care!
